Job Description

Make a Difference as a Direct Support Professional in a Residential Group Home! Do you have experience in behavioral support, physical care, or thrive in high-energy environments? Are you passionate about empowering youth with physical and mental disabilities? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking motivated and reliable Direct Support Professionals for a summer position in a residential group home setting. This role runs from 8am to 2pm and offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and fit. You will play a key role in helping the individuals we support build independence, confidence, and daily living skills. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, adaptable, and a strong team player with a commitment to respectful care and positive support. As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
  • Promote the development of functional skills, independence, inclusion, and individualization for the people we support.
  • Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities and basic physical care in a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records.
  • Educate and assist individuals with their daily needs.
  • Contribute to a clean and sanitized home environment.
  • Prepare meals. What you'll bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare,childcare, our caregiving.
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening.
  • Completion of all required trainings.

Direct Support experience.

Please confirm that you understand this role includes a 90 day probationary period and that continued employment is based on performance during that time.
