Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in delivering personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. You will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support that enhances quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, including vital signs and overall well-being Administer medications and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate record keeping Use equipment like Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers and catheter care when necessary Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment Skills Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health or behavior promptly Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to home health care Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred to ensure safety during emergencies Ability to work independently while following care plans and medical directives Compassionate communication skills to build trust with clients and their families Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential care that improves lives every day.
