Home Health Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide exceptional in-home care to clients across diverse settings. This vital role involves assisting individuals with daily activities and promoting independence and well-being. As a Home Health Aide, you will be the primary support system for patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity while delivering personalized care that meets their unique needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lift or Gait Belt when necessary. Ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records standards. Support patients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's care or dementia care, Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for clients. Experience Prior experience in home health care or assisted living environments Demonstrated ability to work with seniors in long-term care settings or nursing homes. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and vital signs monitoring. Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), HIV/AIDS, and Alzheimer's certification Familiarity with medical equipment including Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids is desirable. Strong communication skills combined with a caring attitude to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
