Job Description
Big Smiles Adult Day Care is an innovative care center committed to providing the highest quality services for adults who require daily support. Our facilities are managed by trained healthcare professionals. We focus on fostering mental and social stimulation to enhance the well-being of our participants. Our personalized approach ensures a positive and enriching environment for individuals and their families. This is a full-time, on-site position for an Adult Day Care Center based in Pembroke Pines, FL. The HHA will be responsible for assisting participants with activities of daily living, providing personal care, and ensuring their comfort and safety. The role also involves fostering meaningful interaction with participants through communication and by assisting with daily activities such as arts and crafts, bingo, dominoes, and more.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong patient care skills.
- Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (e.g., mobility and hygiene tasks).
- Experience in providing care with empathy and dedication.
- Ability to build positive relationships.
- Completion of in-services training.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Ability to be a driver.
- A reliable individual who is passionate about supporting the quality of life of those in the third age.
