•We are looking for a competent, experienced Personal Care Assistants to support our Residents in their everyday lives. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. If you're a compassionate, positive person who isn't afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate. Responsibilities Ensure Residents are taken care of as assigned Support residents who need assistance Help Residents dress, bathe, etc Assist Residents with exercises Serve prepared meals to the Residents Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment Provide emotional support Inform supervisors about uncommon events or changes you observe Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Proven experience as personal care assistant Committed to health & safety Able to do light room pickup Well-organized and reliable Excellent communication and people skills Positive and compassionate attitude Strong ethics Dependable Physical stamina CPR certified or willing to obtain High school diploma or equivalent •Must be able to pass a level 2 background screening and drug screening as conditions of employment•
