Hylton Residential Suites is a brand-new luxury assisted living home located in Port St. Lucie. We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers who are excited to be part of a growing organization from the ground up. This is a flexible contract/per diem opportunity that allows you to earn additional income while making a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.

Come join us and help redefine what assisted living can be—where care feels like luxury. ✨ Port St. Lucie, FL Hylton Residential Suites - where care feels like luxury Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care and behavior management techniques Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining a clean and safe environment Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Follow all safety procedures, including first aid protocols, infection control practices, and emergency response plans Requirements Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Certification or training in first aid is advantageous; willingness to obtain required certifications if not already held Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to resident outings or errands (if applicable) Clean background

Pay:

$150.00 - $160.00 per day
