Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Resident Aide/Home Health Aide and become a vital part of providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in an assisted living setting. In this role, you will support residents and clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their independence. Your energetic and caring approach will help create a warm, respectful environment where each individual feels valued and supported. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while gaining valuable experience in healthcare and senior care. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Use EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document care activities and health updates precisely Maintain a clean, safe environment. Engage residents in social activities and provide emotional support to foster well-being. Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members. Support residents' participation in community outings or recreational activities when appropriate Skills Proven experience in assisted living, or home & community care environments Knowledge of ADL assistance, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care techniques, including behavior management strategies Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for accurate documentation Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach. Experience working with seniors. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and families.
