Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Direct Service Provider to join our team in delivering exceptional support and care to individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will work directly with clients, empowering them to achieve greater independence and quality of life. You will play a key role in implementing personalized care plans, ensuring safety, and promoting growth through compassionate engagement. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and behavioral management strategies. Implement individualized care plans using evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management techniques. Monitor vital signs and administer medication as prescribed, maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct intake assessments and document progress through detailed medical records and data collection methods. Respond effectively to crisis situations using crisis intervention and crisis management skills to ensure client safety. Support clients during social activities, educational sessions, and community outings while fostering independence. Collaborate with team members, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and update treatment plans regularly. Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or behavioral health needs is highly preferred. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, addiction counseling, and PTSD care strategies is advantageous. Ability to perform medical tasks such as taking vital signs and administering medication accurately. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Strong skills in social work principles, data collection, behavior management, and patient care are essential for success in this role. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health challenges. Must be able to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.
