weekends and weekdays 24 hr shifts 3-4 shifts per week 24 HOUR SHIFTS @ $260-270 per day Live In care giver/ direct support personnel for a group home located in Tallahassee FL, working with individuals with developmental disabilities personnel. Willing to work 2-4 consecutive days per week & off 2-4 consecutive days each week as a Live in care giver. Looking for a dependable and punctual individual, that has patients, with excellent work ethics that has previous experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities and assisting with daily living activities.

Duties include:

• Daily Cleaning and upkeep of Home
• Daily Documentation ' COVID-19 Precaution(s): Remote interview process Personal protective equipment provided or required Temperature screenings Social distancing guidelines in place Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

In person Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide personal care and support for individuals with disabilities, including those with Alzheimer's and dementia. Monitor and document client health status, including vital signs and any changes in behavior or condition. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences. Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines. Engage clients in social activities and community outings to promote socialization and independence. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe transfers when necessary. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Qualifications Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred, particularly in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is essential; certification is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and assessment of client needs. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients as needed.
