Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide exceptional care support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. In this vital role, you will foster independence, promote well-being, and ensure safety through personalized assistance and attentive monitoring. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming in a residential group home Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and assist residents during meal times Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks in compliance with health regulations Support residents in participating in community activities, social outings, or recreational programs to promote engagement and socialization Document care activities, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with team members about residents' progress and needs Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health care settings preferred Familiarity with assisting individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism or other behavioral conditions Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications like HIPAA training are a plus. Pay:
