As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities. You will be responsible for delivering personalized care while ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about patient care and have a strong commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of those they serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to healthcare professionals. Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans. Perform basic housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Support clients with mobility assistance, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or assisting with walking. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information. Provide specialized care as needed, such as catheter care or hospice care support. Experience Previous experience in home care or patient care is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with CPR techniques is advantageous. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need of assistance.
