Home Health Aide

The Club at Wellington Senior Living is a warm, resident-centered senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and meaningful experiences for our residents. We are seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) who are passionate about serving seniors and making a positive impact every day. Position Summary The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides assistance with daily living activities and personal care services to residents while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life. This position works closely with the nursing and caregiving team to ensure residents receive attentive and compassionate care. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing Dressing Grooming Toileting Mobility and transfers Assist residents with meals, hydration, and dining support Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental condition to nursing staff Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Maintain accurate documentation as required Respond promptly to resident call systems and requests for assistance Assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed Follow all community policies, infection control procedures, and safety guidelines Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented environment Qualifications Current Florida Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or completion of an approved training program preferred Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, home care, or healthcare preferred Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely CPR/First Aid certification preferred Must successfully pass background screening and drug screening in accordance with Florida regulations
