In person We're No Different, LLC is a licensed Home Health Agency and APD provider seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver to support a male client with Down Syndrome. This client is mostly self-sufficient but requires supervision, encouragement, and support with community engagement and some daily living activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is active, and does not mind participating in community outings such as basketball, library visits, movies, and other activities.

Schedule:

15 hours per week Afternoon hours after 3:00 PM Exact days to be discussed based on client/family needs

Client Support Needs:

Male client with Down Syndrome Mostly self-sufficient Requires supervision for safety Enjoys community outings and activities Needs support with engagement, socialization, and some daily living activities

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and supervision Assist with daily routines and life skills Support community outings and engagement Transport client to activities and appointments Encourage independence, social interaction, and community involvement Participate in activities such as basketball, library visits, movies, and other outings Follow care plans and behavior strategies Maintain documentation and EVV compliance Provide patient, respectful, and person-centered support

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Proof of auto insurance if transporting clients Level II Background Screening, or ability to obtain CPR/First Aid, or willingness to obtain Dependable, professional, and able to follow directions Comfortable working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Must be patient, reliable, and eager to work
