Home Health Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or age-related challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care and a strong understanding of the unique needs associated with long-term care, hospice care, and dementia care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the client's living space. Document client progress and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Support clients with mobility aids and assistive devices as needed. Experience Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care settings is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and safety practices. Experience in hospice care or dementia care is a plus. Knowledge of home health systems and senior care best practices is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
