In this energetic and rewarding role, you will provide personalized care to enhance independence, safety, and well-being. Whether working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings, your dedication will help create a warm and supportive environment for residents and clients alike. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills while making a positive impact every day. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care strategies Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Document care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and report any changes in condition to supervising healthcare professionals Skills Proven experience in long-term care, assisted living, or home & community care environments Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and behavior management techniques Ability to perform CPR and First Aid certification to respond effectively in emergencies Familiarity with assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids Strong communication skills for working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Ability to operate EMR systems accurately and efficiently Valid driver's license for driving residents or clients when required for appointments or outings Join us in providing compassionate, high-quality care that empowers individuals to live their best lives!
