The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with seniors with Alzheimer's. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to create a supportive environment for our clients. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide patient care and monitoring, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Perform light cleaning and maintain a tidy living environment for clients. Support clients with mobility needs. Observe and document changes in client health or behavior, reporting any concerns to appropriate personnel. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive function, including memory care exercises for those with Alzheimer's or dementia. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Transportation, errands, mail retrieval. Qualifications Previous experience in home care. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring is essential. Familiarity with caregiving practices for individuals with Alzheimers/Dementia. Certification as
CNA, CPR
certification and First Aid is required; additional training in senior care is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing client needs.
