Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Assistant, where your dedication and active support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing assistance with daily activities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, ensure safety, and promote independence for a client in a home health environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a warm, supportive atmosphere that fosters dignity and well-being. Responsibilities Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper use of safety devices to prevent injury during transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Document patient observations, care provided, and any incidents thoroughly and accurately in compliance with healthcare standards Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Experience with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous Certification in CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance is required or highly desirable Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques, medication administration procedures, and care planning processes Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers Proven ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals requiring long-term or specialized care Join us in delivering exceptional caregiving that empowers individuals to live comfortably and confidently. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
