Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' vital signs and observe their overall condition to identify any changes or concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance to ensure privacy and confidentiality Support clients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, utilizing specialized techniques for safety and comfort Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Document patient observations, care activities, and progress in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia enhances your ability to provide specialized support Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist residents with mobility using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude combined with excellent observational skills for patient safety and well-being Join us in delivering dedicated care that truly transforms lives!
