Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Home Care Join the Providence Care Team At Providence Care, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care that allows clients to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We believe in treating every individual with dignity, respect, and personalized attention. We are currently seeking a caring, dependable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and helping improve their overall quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers and ambulation. Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding when needed. Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean living environment. Provide companionship and emotional support. Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed. Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional condition. Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow individualized care plans. Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and infection-control guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. PCA certification Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong desire to help others. Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
