Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Assistant/Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide personalized care in home and community settings, supporting clients with dignity, respect, and enthusiasm. You will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitor health status, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for those under your care. Your dedication will help clients maintain independence and achieve their personal health goals. Responsibilities Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Emptying and monitoring Client`s Foley catheter bag daily. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to promote a healthy living environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals by providing detailed reports on patient progress and any changes in condition. Support patients in community settings by assisting with errands, transportation, and social activities to foster engagement and well-being. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during patient care activities and emergency situations. Qualifications Prior experience providing catheter care, including safely emptying and monitoring Foley catheter bags Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to patient safety and comfort.
