Job Description

Company Overview Courageous Home Care is a Personal Support Provider with over 30 years of experience in the Personal Support Industry. We bring three decades of knowledge to decisions on staffing, payroll and employment benefits. Summary Join Courageous Home Care as a Personal Support Assistant in your local community. In this vital role, you will deliver compassionate care to a Quadriplegic with total care needs. Our member will need assistance with changing adult briefs, transfer, preparing meals and other household duties. Our member also likes to go out into the community, and has a conversion van for travel. Responsibilities Provide personal support and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor patient health and report any changes to Courageous Home Care. Assist clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment. Maintain a clean and safe environment for members. Document care provided accurately and timely. Support members in engaging in community activities to promote social interaction. Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in home health or personal support roles. Certification in CPR and First Aid. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills. Ability to assist with ADLs, IADLs and provide patient monitoring. Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities is preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects safely when required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
