Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding to ensure dietary needs are met Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and safety Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices to safely transfer residents or patients Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry Document care activities accurately, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer's care strategies Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly desirable Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and patient monitoring tasks Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals, residents, and families Compassionate attitude with a proactive approach to caregiving and social support This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to provide compassionate support while advancing their caregiving expertise.
