Shift:
Sat-Sun 10a-5p Summary We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Georgia. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity while ensuring their health and safety. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to enhance their quality of life. Monitor and document patient observations and report any changes in condition. Support clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with health protocols. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role. Knowledge of patient care techniques and medical terminology. Strong communication skills and empathy for patients' needs. CPR certification is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable.
