Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Job Summary Hopkins Care, LLC is a growing home care agency seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide non-medical in-home support to clients. This is a great opportunity to join a startup agency with flexible scheduling and room for growth as we expand our client base. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): Bathing, grooming, dressing Toileting and mobility assistance Provide companionship and supervision Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying up) Meal preparation Medication reminders (no administering) Report changes in client condition to supervisor Follow individualized care plans Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable Proven ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia (including Alzheimer's disease), or memory care needs Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid Familiarity with using mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident's equipment for safe transfers Experience providing hospice or long-term care services is a plus Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while assisting residents with mobility or transfers Join us as a Personal Care Assistant if you are passionate about delivering high-quality care with energy and empathy.
