Job Description

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - In-Home Care Position Summary Providence Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide quality in-home care services to clients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate is punctual, professional, and committed to enhancing each client's quality of life by promoting independence, dignity, and safety. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed. Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and maintaining a clean living environment. Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation. Provide medication reminders (no medication administration). Accompany clients to appointments or errands as assigned. Observe and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition. Complete all required documentation accurately and on time. Follow each client's individualized care plan while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Qualifications Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred but not required. Current CPR/First Aid certification is required. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation is required). Ability to pass a criminal background. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to lift, bend, stand, and assist clients with mobility as needed. What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual attendance. Compassionate and patient attitude.
