  • Part-time Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant and Companion to help our mother in law, providing exceptional support and companionship to individuals in various care settings.
Duties Assist residents with some mobility support Monitor residents' health status by taking observing changes, and reporting findings accurately Maintain a clean, safe environment if needed (family has house keeper) Engage residents in social activities, conversation, and recreational programs to promote mental well-being and social interaction. Assist a busy family in checking on a senior, resetting TV cable Box, driving to Walmart, carrying down laundry basket and any other small tasks. Requirements Prior experience in assisting seniors Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly desirable Ability to work independently and as part of a team while demonstrating excellent patient observation skills. Speaking Punjabi or Hindi is advantageous. Physical stamina for activities such as going up and down stairs, patient monitoring, and assisting with mobility tasks. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members. Experience with care plans, medication administration, patient monitoring, and social work principles is advantageous. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of a seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering personalized care with energy, empathy, and professionalism. Have a proactive attitude, excellent observational skills, and a genuine passion for enhancing quality of life through attentive caregiving. This job is ideal for a student looking to make gas money.
