In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a lasting impact in our community. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transporting. Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to support residents' dietary needs and preferences. Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks in accordance with health standards. Support residents during community outings or activities to promote social engagement and independence. Document care activities accurately in care plans and ensure compliance with all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is preferred. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential. Certification in CPR, first aid, and HIPAA compliance is highly desirable; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is required. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Valid driver's license may be required for community outings; flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
