Upcountry Support Staff

Arc of Maui County actively supports programs and services that assure full inclusion and participation in the community throughout life with Residential, Home & Community Based, Adult Day Health and Employment Services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are actively seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dependable applicant to support a young adult with Special Needs to meet their goals, increase their independence and improve their quality of life!

PT Shift:

Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 2-6p, Wed 1-6p, Sat or Sun 8hrs (29hrs)

Benefits Include:

Health Ins (medical/dental/vision - we pay premium), Retirement w/match, Life Insurance, Mileage Reimbursement, New Hire and Referral Incentive ($100 ea.) Duties include: picking up individual from school on weekdays, supporting him in the community to work on individual goals, then transporting him home. On the weekend day, support staff would pick him up at home, work on goals in the community, then transport him home.

Applicant requirements:

Valid Driver's License, High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and experience working with special needs or elderly population preferred. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. CPR/FA and TB required upon hire (will assist to obtain). Please email resume or work experience.
