Job Description
Personal Care Assistants Wanted 30-some year-old full-time female wheelchair user seeking female/nonbinary caregivers (or gay men, absolutely no straight men, sorry not sorry!) for in-home/community care. Plant-filled apartment with beautiful sunset views and good vibes. :) Ideally able to lift me in a cradle lift (about 80 pounds, hoyer lift available if needed). Extensive training in home by experienced PCAs. Must be reliable, clean, organized, a good listener, and a quick learner. I have a cat, so if you're allergic, probably not a good fit! Care experience preferred. Must be willing to wear a mask while working. Must be able to put my needs and preferences first. 24-36 hrs/week, ~$22-33k/year ($17.75/hr). Hours start out less and scale up. Some flexibility in number of hours. Day shifts and overnight shifts available.
