Direct Support Professional DAYS, NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, GRAVES

This is a feel-good position aimed at encouraging adults with disabilities to become as self-directing as possible. Our staff help the participants maintain good standards of hygiene and help stimulate mental alertness through conversation and participation in individualized appropriate activities. Requirements assist participants in establishing a daily schedule for household duties and activities of daily living instructing participants in learning and re-learning household duties participate in conversation, companionship and other activities assist participants to and from community activities and appointments teach participants money management skills teach participants friendship/relationship skills facilitate safety skills assist participants with behavior management as needed Current CPR certification and first aid training Successful completion of paid training maintain current and accurate clinical records Provide personal care Salary Description $16 / hour
