05/08/2026 About the Role Clarvida is seeking a Family Support Specialist to work directly with families raising a child who experiences a severe and persistent mental illness or emotional disturbance. In this role, you will engage caregivers in goal-focused treatment planning, help connect them to community resources, provide education, teach resiliency skills, and support families in developing self-advocacy and long-term stability. This position also draws on your lived experience to help families feel understood and empowered. Responsibilities Meet with families to assess needs and support treatment planning Provide coaching, emotional support, and skill-building Link families to appropriate community resources and services Share relevant lived experience to promote trust and connection Support caregivers in developing advocacy and problem-solving skills Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record Requirements High school diploma or GED Ability to work in a community-based setting Ability to pass all required background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting with ID DHW Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance Experience with electronic health record systems (preferred) Family Support Specialist Certification (or willingness to obtain—Clarvida may assist with training if hired contingent upon certification) Compensation & Benefits $17
