Possible weekend Block schedule. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with varying needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and overall quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for those in your care. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences. Provide support for memory care and assist clients in engaging in meaningful activities. Facilitate communication between clients and their families regarding care and progress. Assist with heavy lifting as necessary when transferring clients or moving equipment. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to senior care, hospice care, and assisted living. Qualifications Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and the ability to follow care plans effectively. Experience with memory care or working in assisted living facilities is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as required by the role. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards clients and their families. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
