Monday

• Friday 8:30 am until 3:30 pm The DSP I of the Community Day Services Program has the responsibility of providing direct care and training for the individuals served.

He/She is directly responsible to the Program Supervisor.

• Adhere to agency personnel policies and procedures.
• Remain current on CPR/AED/First Aid training

• Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities Confidentiality Act
• Department of Human Services Rule 119; Minimum Standards for Certification of CDS Programs
• Office of Inspector General (OIG) Emergency Rule 50 Investigations of Alleged Abuse or Neglect in Community Agencies DSP I Responsibilities
• Provide program training in accordance with the Personal Plan/Implementation Strategy and Individual Service Plan as determined by those participating in the development of the Personal Plan/Interdisciplinary Team.
• Assist with therapeutic behavior interventions as stated in Individual Personal Plan
• Maintain equipment and work material in a clean and orderly manner.
• Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with individuals served.
• Attend in-service as directed.
• Assist during the arrival and departure of individuals served.
• Assist in toileting needs, i.e. placing on toilet, changing diapers, depending on needs of individual.
• Provide supervision and assistance with toileting individuals served.
