Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking highly motivated, dependable, compassionate, and outgoing Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in residential settings. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking a change from long-term care environments. Our settings include group homes and individual apartments with low staff-to-resident ratios (1:4 or less).
Available Positions Part Time:
Every other Saturday & Sunday 9am-3pm (12 hours per pay period) PRN (As needed): Must be available to work at least one shift per pay period and one Saturday or Sunday per month Job Description/Responsibilities Provide tailored care and support in accordance with personalized care plans Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and mobility Support and facilitate residents' inclusion in a wide range of community activities Administer medications accurately and monitor health conditions as prescribed Encourage residents' personal development and achievement of their goals through consistent support and positive reinforcement Maintain a safe, hygienic, and orderly living environment Prepare detailed and timely documentation of residents' progress and communicate clearly with families and healthcare providers Participate in training and development sessions to enhance service delivery and understand the latest best practices in care Qualifications/Requirements Must be DSP certified/trained in Illinois (required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required) High school diploma or GED (required) Must pass a literacy test and a criminal background check (required) CPR/First Aid Certification (required) Why Join Us? Pay:
$18.75 - $19.00 per hour
