Overnight CILA - Direct Support Professional

Kaskaskia Workshop, Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as an Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) in a 4-person CILA home. This full-time overnight position plays an important role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment. 11:00 PM - 7:00

AM Pay:

$17.00 per hour

Location:

4-person CILA home, Centralia IL Schedule is posted 2 weeks in advance ; days may vary based on the needs of the home and residents. Responsibilities Provide overnight supervision and ensure resident safety and well-being Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Support personal care needs, hygiene, mobility, and medication administration Complete overnight documentation and report any concerns or incidents Perform routine room and safety checks throughout the shift Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures Use assistive equipment safely, including mobility devices or lifts if needed Work collaboratively with the support team to provide consistent, person-centered care Qualifications MUST be DSP Certified — non-certified applicants will not be considered Previous experience in a group home, CILA, nursing home, assisted living, or caregiving setting preferred CPR and First Aid certification preferred Ability to work independently and remain attentive during overnight hours Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable attendance and dependable transportation Valid driver's license preferred Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude Why Join KWI?
