Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Community Day Services Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other disabilities to lead fulfilling, independent lives. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist participants in daily activities, foster social engagement, and promote positive behavior within a community-based setting. Your compassionate approach and proactive attitude will help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to reach their goals. Responsibilities Implement behavioral programming according to procedure and in a fair and consistent manner. Provide persons served with instruction and training opportunities in the development of variety of skill domains, including, but not limited to: social, communication, recreational, vocational, fitness, functional academic, community, and independent living. Plan, organize, and facilitate active participation of persons served in daily activities designed to build personal strengths of persons served both in-agency and in the community. Provide persons served with personal care support as needed, including, but not limited to feeding, restroom support, stand-by assist, transfers, etc. Complete documentation on appropriate forms relative to programming (date sheets), information (CDS information form), Incidents/Accidents/Injuries (Safety Issue Form). Safely operate Crosspoint vehicles. Follow all laws and policies related to driving & transferring persons served in & out of vehicles. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Prefer one or more year's experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disability or mental illness.
