Patient Care Assistant

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $25.20 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our care team. Ideal candidates are compassionate, patient-focused team members who provide hands-on support with daily living activities to help ensure comfort and safety. PCAs work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care and assist patients in a respectful and dignified manner.

Compensation that aligns with your experience, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Experience Qualifications 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience and certification as indicated below. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice is required with 6 months experience as noted above. Certification is not required for those with greater than one year experience. BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
