Support Worker Trainer-Direct Support Professional (DSP) Full Time- 2nd Shift

Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. You will be working in a residential setting with adults with developmental disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living and community outings. This position ensures staff are properly trained in program implementation, documentation, medication support, health and safety standards, and person-centered care in compliance with Illinois DHS/DDD requirements, including Rule 115. Required to attend all institute days, and staff meetings and training as required by the Residential Services Manager/QIDP. Ensures that the Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Rule 115 is interpreted and applied correctly for all CILA consumers. As a member of the MEE staff, the Support Worker is also responsible for protecting and advocating for consumer rights. 2nd Shift All candidates are required to have: High school diploma/GED A valid Illinois driver's license and have reliable transportation.
