! Direct Support Professional Full Time at Mt. Vernon Location Monday-Friday 9:00 am-3:30pm Direct Support Professional Our Direct Care team is fun, creative, and dedicated to making a difference every day in the lives of the people we serve. The heart of what we do is support people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities of all ages. Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Direct Support Professional at our Mt. Vernon location. In this position, your focus will be community integration by helping our consumers stay involved in their local community. You will also work and supervise in a community employment setting and play a vital and positive role in helping these individuals with intellectual, cognitive, or developmental disabilities achieve their fullest potential. Career Development hours are 8:30 am-3:30pm with no weekends. High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to pass drug testing and background checks. A driver's license and being able to pass our insurance underwriter is required. Eligible applicant must be able to pass the DCFS background screening.
