Job Description
Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. In this vital role, you will provide assistance with daily living activities, ensure patient safety, and promote independence in a variety of settings including private homes, assisted living facilities, group homes, and nursing homes. Your energetic and caring approach will help create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This position is for a 12-hour daytime shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily . The client is also open to working with an Arabic-speaking caregiver , making bilingual communication skills a plus for this case. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to report to healthcare professionals promptly Support medication management by administering prescribed medications following HIPAA guidelines and care plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to ensure safe patient transfers and prevent injury Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry Document patient progress, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing home settings or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease or autism spectrum disorder is desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude towards clients' needs Reliable transportation and flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends as required Arabic-speaking candidates are welcome to apply Join us in delivering exceptional care that enhances quality of life!
