at Milestone, Inc. in Rockford, Illinois, United States Job Description Sign-On Bonus of $600.00! Milestone, Inc. is the largest provider of residential, developmental, vocational and social support services for adults with mental retardation, autism, epilepsy and cerebral palsy in Winnebago and Boone Counties. With over 30 locations, serving approximately 355 residents, Milestone, Inc. strives to be a leader in providing high quality care in a nurturing environment. We serve between 5 and 14 residents at each facility. There is a smaller client to staff ratio which means stronger relationships and a family-like atmosphere. Milestone, Inc.
is currently hiring for:
Full-time and part-time shifts available: Most current openings are full-time on aa combination of 1st and 2nd shift (6:30am - 2:30pm and 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm) or mixture of shifts including 1st, 2nd and 3rd. No matter what shift staff are assigned to, they must be flexible to work any day of the week including weekends as team members have meetings to set up schedules at least two weeks in advance. After completing training, Care Providers assist with residents' daily care and activities: ⢠Personal care and hygiene needs ⢠Behavioral intervention ⢠Documentation and charting of care and daily programs ⢠Activities and outings in the community ⢠Cleaning tasks, laundry Each of Milestone's residential homes has different residents that require varying schedules and care plans. When hired, employees are assigned to one specific home so they can become accustomed to the schedule and routine and build a bond and rapport with the residents there.Qualifications:
1. Must be 18 or older to work with adults 2. High School Diploma or GED 3. Safe driving record/approved driver when specified 4. Must be able to intervene in behavioral or health-related crisis.
