This role focuses on daily living assistance, companionship, and household support rather than clinical tasks. Core Responsibilities ADL Support — bathing assistance, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility help IADL Support — meal prep, grocery shopping, errands, light housekeeping Companionship — conversation, social engagement, supervision for safety Medication Reminders — prompting only Transportation Assistance — appointments, community activities (if allowed) Home Organization — tidying, laundry, maintaining a safe environment Observation & Reporting — noting changes in mood, behavior, or condition Client Advocacy — supporting independence and respecting preferences Qualifications No formal medical certification required Experience in caregiving preferred CPR/First Aid (recommended) Ability to lift 20-40 lbs.
