The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This role requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Provide meal preparation and cooking services tailored to clients' dietary needs. Support clients in mobility and lifting as necessary to ensure their safety and comfort. Offer patient care, including monitoring health conditions and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Assist with catheter care and other medical needs as directed by healthcare providers. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all living spaces are tidy and organized. Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams. Experience Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred but not required. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Familiarity with long-term care practices is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families. Ability to follow care plans accurately while being adaptable to changing client needs. Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program State of Indiana.
