Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Support individuals in community involvement and social activities. Document services provided accurately and timely. Promote independence, dignity, and person-centered care. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members in both English and Spanish (or other qualifying language).
Qualifications:
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish preferred). High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
