Job Description

Caregiver/Personal Assistant/home health aide (2yrs exp req) Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality support and care to individuals in various settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily activities, monitor health status, and promote independence while ensuring safety and comfort. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing memory loss or developmental challenges. Caregiver/Personal Assistant/home health aide (2yrs exp req) Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient observation to monitor health status and report changes to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Monitor vital signs and observe for signs of medical or emotional distress Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations Support clients with Alzheimer's, dementia, autism, or other developmental disabilities through specialized care techniques Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities when necessary Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures Caregiver/Personal Assistant/home health aide (2yrs exp req) Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice is preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards Certification in CPR and First Aid required or willingness to obtain upon hire Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia, or autism is highly desirable Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and safety assessment Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license may be required for transportation duties Join our team if you are committed to providing compassionate care that enhances the quality of life for those we serve.
