Direct Support Professional Location:

Schedule We are currently hiring for full-time positions with the following schedules:

Day Shift:

8:00 AM - 8:00

PM Rotation:

Monday through Sunday, every other week What You'll Do As a valued member of our care team, you will help create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for our clients.

Responsibilities include:

Providing compassionate, personalized care Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility Offering companionship and meaningful social interaction Preparing meals and maintaining a clean, comfortable living space Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities Assisting with medication administration (training provided) Documenting care activities and communicating with the care team Following individualized care plans to support client goals and well-being Why Join Golden Heart Companions? Preferred Qualifications:

Passion for caregiving and helping others Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good judgment and problem-solving skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance Current TB test results (within 90 days) Skills for Success Attention to detail Strong observation and documentation skills Basic computer knowledge Time management and organizational skills Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks Readiness to respond calmly in emergency situations The Ideal Candidate The ideal caregiver is patient, dependable, and compassionate. Physical Requirements This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility and transfers throughout the shift.
