Female Caregiver in Hobart, Indiana! Community In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, patient, and reliable female caregiver to provide support for a non-verbal youth in the Hobart area. This is a meaningful opportunity to build a strong connection while helping improve a young person's quality of life. Personal Care Assistant Expected Hours:
Approximately 7 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday
  • 2hrs Wednesday
  • 3hrs Thursday
  • 2hrs
Work Location:
In-person (Client home in Kentland, IN) Opportunity for additional hours in the future What You'll Do As a Personal Care Aide, you will help enhance the quality of life for our client by providing compassionate, personalized support.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Providing companionship and emotional support Supporting mobility and ensuring safety during transfers and movement Assisting with meal preparation and nutritional needs Administering medications as directed Maintaining a clean and safe home environment Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client's condition Engaging the client in sensory, creative, and outdoor activities to support communication, learning, and social skills Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Patient, compassionate, and dependable Professional and able to work independently Comfortable working with children with special needs Experience with autism preferred but not required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous caregiving or personal care experience
  • preferred First Aid and CPR certification
  • required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation Driver's license
