Job Description

The Center for Counseling & Consultation is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving Barton, Pawnee, Rice, and Stafford counties in Central KS. This position is responsible for assisting severely emotionally disturbed children in successfully achieving their treatment plan goals by providing one-on-one support within a community or school setting.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with assigned children individually and in group settings to develop skills identified by their treatment plan Support assigned children in daily living skills as needed and appropriate Support assigned children in school and/or community activities as needed and appropriate Accurately complete all required documentation and communicate information to assigned children's treatment team regarding progress towards established goals Provide Respite Care, Attendant Care, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Independent Living/Skills Building and Transportation as defined by Medicaid and as qualified Participate in agency meetings, training and ongoing professional development as required Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Background void of issues related to abuse or neglect Valid Kansas driver's license with favorable record Complete AC, PRI, ILS and Respite Training within 120 days of start date Previous experience and/or education in human services, education, early childhood, or related field. Working knowledge of social service resources
