THIS IS A IN HOME CARE POSITION.
Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 3:30pm We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide essential support and care for individual in a home care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting client with daily activities such as diapering, eating, medication, and lifting for transfers to chair to bed, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for individual requiring total care assistance. Client is wheelchair chair bound, nonverbal, and has no control over body movement. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient health as per care plans. Prepare meals tailored to individuals needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to guardian. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life. Heavy lifting, diapering, feeding as client is 100% disabled and relays on his care giver. Qualifications Previous experience in home care settings or senior care is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus, but not required. Strong ability to monitor patient conditions and report changes accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to perform light cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment.
