We are the oldest community-based nonprofit in Sedgwick County serving people with disabilities. Gateway- Behavior Support Specialist How you can help: Support individuals diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability in a day program setting. Assist with behavioral skills development, basic living skills, socialization skills and integrating them into the community. You will teach, learn and interact with our persons served to help them reach their potential by utilizing positive behavior supports. Requirements) Must have High School Diploma, GED, or Work-Keys Bronze Certificate Be at least 18 years old Valid Driver's License for at least 2 years with a good driving record. Must be available for 2-4 weeks of PAID training, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm. ASL (American Sign Language) preferred Please see below for more schedule and pay information:
Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour Operation hours for the Gateway program are M-F 8:00am-4:30pm. In this position, you have the opportunity to select which days you are available!
